July has started and I love these nice warm summer days to get out and work in the garden or swim in our pool. When it starts to turn hotter, I love coming in to craft. And what better activity to cool you off then stamping Christmas cards!! ❄️ ⛄️ As crafters, we always (usually 😉 ) work ahead of the seasons. Tool Tip: Stampin' Spots

Stampin’ Up! offers two ways to purchase these mini pads: uninked and an eight-piece Assortment (pg.129). Purchase the Classic Assortment (153183) for handy on-the-go (fits in the palm of your hand) stamping and a set of Uninked Spots (141822) and Refills in your favourite colours to add to your Assortment. I love using the spots with my Stamp-A-Ratus and when for visits away from my craft space.

Here’s my TIP: These mini ink pads have felt pads versus the foam inkpads of the Classic Stampin’ Pads. And the lids on the Spots do not fit as tight as those of our Classic Pads. Both of these factors mean that the spots will dry out quicker. To slow down that process, store Spots in an air-tight container. Be sure to purchase Refills (pgs. 122-23, 126) for your Spots so you can refresh them when needed.
