This week, we’re turning those little crafty leftovers into something big — the kind of stepped-up cards that make your favourite people say, “Wait… you MADE this?!”

Week 5 is all about creating those extra-special, display-on-the-mantel cards for your closest people. Think layers, texture, vellum, embossing, sparkle, and maybe even a fancy fold, if the mood strikes!

And the best part?
You don’t need to start from scratch. A handful of DSP scraps can turn into a card that looks like it took hours.

Here’s your Week 5 checklist:

• Pull out your prettiest scraps of Designer Series Paper
• Choose 2–4 VIPs who deserve something beautifully stepped up
• Add an “extra” detail—like a stitched layer, vellum, gems, or ribbon
• Create coordinating envelopes for a polished finish
• Make one bonus card for those wonderful “surprise” card-givers

Jenn’s tip:

I keep a little dish of leftover die-cuts and embossed pieces on my desk—it’s amazing how often one tiny piece becomes the perfect final flourish on a special card.
