The Perfect Sandwich | Stamp with Jenn Weekly Update
Published: Wed, 02/23/22
Dear :
In this week's newsletter, I'm highlighting a bundle you might have missed in the Mini Catalogue called Dahlia Days. I love the sort of "drawing" look of the images! And check out the dies, not only do they cut out the images, but there is an extra amazing background
piece.
There are only five days left to Sale-a-bration promotion. Don't miss your chance to get something for free with every $60 purchase. You can view more about this promotion
on my website here. Plus later today, I'll have a couple more fun Sale-a-bration projects to share with you on my website.
Finally, I've included an answer to a question that I often get about embossing sandwiches.
Stay safe, happy stamping!
p.s. Be sure to stay tuned to my Newsletter next week as I have some new products to share you with. And, of course, you can still get the All Together items (up to May 2nd or in some cases, where supplies last).
Last Chance
During Sale-a-bration....
you can get the Demonstrator kit for $135 with no shipping or taxes (depending on your province)
and you get to pick out $165 worth of stamping products. Normally this would cost you over $205.
And right now, you will also get to pick out two additional stamps to add to your kit.
This deal ends on February 28th, 2022!

Question: I'm trying to emboss and I can't get the sandwich thru the machine. What am I doing wrong? What plates do I use when I'm embossing with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine?
Answer: This is a great question that I had this week. First of all, never force a sandwich through the machine. There will always be a little bit of tension on the sandwich, otherwise it wouldn't emboss, but it should still glide thru the machine as you edge it in and start to crank the handle. Likely your sandwich is too
thick. I find this mainly happens when you use 3D Embossing folders (as you need to change out the plates).
The information you need to create the perfect sandwich is pictured right on the plates. You just need to distinguish between regular folders and 3D folders. You can tell by the thickness of the plates which are 3D's but it is also in the catalogue description if they are 3D folders.
Also, depending on the size of the machine you have, you will use different plates. See the two videos below.

Use the beautiful images from the Dahlia Days stamp set to create the background for this card. Adding the texture make a plain card shine. Love the fonts on this stamp set too!
The Dahlia Days Bundle includes the Dahlia Days Stamp Set and the Detailed Dahlias Dies. The beauty of these stamp and die bundle products is in their versatility to work together or as standalone products. Use the set together to create detailed dahlia bouquets or use them on separate projects as subtle botanical accents.
