Operation Paper Hugs | Stamp with Jenn Weekly Update
Published: Tue, 05/05/20
Dear :
There are always a few items on the retiring list that I'm really sad to see go and in this week's newsletter, you will see the "Bonanza Buddies" bundle is one of those items.
Also in this issue is my newest Stamp-A-Pack class. Previous class members have already been able to register for this, so spots are filling up quickly.
And finally please take a look at the Operation Paper Hugs. If you are anything like me, I have a TON of cards that I make and don't always send them out. Here's a way to donate those cards and send some love and support too!
Take care, stay safe, and happy stamping!
Operation Paper Hugs
I'm still in shock with what happened in Nova Scotia and found out a way we card makers can help.
Karen Cumming, is a friend of one of my clients, and she lives in Truro which is so close to where the mass shootings took place. She has been reaching out for support for the innocent victims and their families. You can listen to a short interview with Karen on KLite here.
What better way to do show support and love than with our craft. We all know how much a card can brighten someone's day! “A handmade card is like a hug with a fold in the middle”? To participate in "Operation Paper Hugs", send a card to any of the addresses listed below. They can all use some love right now!
If you’d like to help, choose an address below and send a card - just to say that you’re thinking of them. People in the Maritimes are known to be some of the kindest in the world. If this little project speaks to you, thank-you for sending some Ontario kindness their way. ❤️
We had so much fun with the last Stamp-A-Pack at home, that I'm doing it again.!
This is a class that I've designed where we can get together virtually and stamp. Click on the button below to see the details of the class and to register.
Here's what some of the last participants said:
Thanks so much for this afternoon! It was a great day and I thought all the cards were beautiful!! ~ Cheryl B.
I enjoyed your class so much and I think you got me started back again! ~ Judy T.
It was wonderful to “meet” you. You are an excellent instructor and I appreciate all of the work you have done in preparation for this class. I’m looking forward to future classes! ~ Corina T.
I thought you did a great job with the video. Your first video explaining what we needed and what we could substitute really helped me. Thank you...looking forward to the next one. ~ Charlie C.
The Stamp-a-Pack was a great way to create some new cards together. Even though I wasn't able to create them live with Jenn, the videos were a great way to "create" with Jenn. She was very organized and everything was very well laid out! Looking forward to the next one already! ~ Jacqueline S.
Thanks again for a great card class this afternoon. Card making is such a wonderful stress reliever for me. ~ Tracey H.
Thanks again so much for such a fun afternoon. I’ve already signed up for June! I’m really getting back into stamping these days, so this timing is perfect. ~ Jane A.
I'm not LION, when I say this is the cutest bundle!! And it is on the retiring list (see below). Die cuts, not only cut out the animals, but also some extra banners and a cute tag. Perfect for the young and the young at heart birthdays.
Question:I see that you always use the Simply Shammy in your videos. But when I look at the catalogue, I also see the Stampin' Scrub and they kinda say the same thing – they clean stamps. Which one do I need?
Answer: Well, you really need both, and here’s why. The Simply Shammy (147042) has a smooth finish – great for a general cleaning. The Stampin’ Scrub (126200) has a rough texture which gets into tiny crevices. Also, the Shammy is activated by water. The Scrub uses our Stampin’ Mist Cleaner (bottle 102394; refill 101022) which also
conditions the rubber. That’s why you need both.
Here's my TIP: While creating, I use the Shammy. Then when I'm finished and tidying up the desk, I grab my Scrub andMist and give every stamp a thorough cleaning. Now they're clean &
conditioned and ready for the next creative experience!
I've already ordered my catalogues and I've ordered a few extra. To get in this shipment, add your name in today. If you aren't sure if you have added your name in, add it again...I'll weed out any duplicates. I'll let you know when I've got them!
