The Jar of Love stamp set has these adorable firefly stamps.  Notice the background is made with one of my favourite background stamps "Hardwood"- a perfect compliment for this little outdoor jar.

Q.  I notice the background stamps on page 164-165 of the annual catalogue are offered in both wood and clear mount option. Which is the best way to get them?

A. It is always a personal preference how you choose to mount your stamps and for the most part I do choose clear mount.  Mostly because they are easier to see to stamp and they are a little bit cheaper too.  BUT, with these large stamps, I actually prefer the WOOD mount option.  I like the sturdiness of the wood block for stamping these very large images (they cover an entire card front).  And I find the wood block seems to give a better impression for these types of stamps for only a few dollars more.  If you do decide to go clear mount, you will need Stampin' Up! largest block, block F, which is $22.50.
