How to Choose a Black Ink |
|

Q. Which black inkpad should I use? A. It depends on what you would like to do. Stampin' Up has these black inkpads and all three have ink refills. - Basic Black Archival #140931 $9.25. Great for even black coverage and for watercolouring. Works well with rubber and photopolymer stamps.
- Memento Black #132708 $8. Great for even black coverage. Not recommended for watercolouring. Best for use with alcohol based markers.
- Jet Black Stazon $101406 $12. Great for watercolouring. Also great for nonporous surfaces like window sheets, glass, ceramics and cello bags. Not recommended for photopolymer stamps.
The Basic Black ink is the one I reach for the most.
