Dents and Boeke Technique | Stamp with Jenn News

Published: Fri, 12/19/14

Dear ,

I'm trying another template in an attempt to get something that is easy to read and update.  What do you think?  Is this easy to read?  Better than the last newsletter?

Please watch your mailbox in the next few weeks for the arrival of both the Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration brochure.  And check out my blog as I'll be posting samples from both of these catalogues over the holidays.

As this is my last newsletter before Christmas, I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Holiday Season.   I wanted to take the time also, to say how much I appreciate you and your continued support with my Stampin' business.  Talk to you in 2015!

Dented Side in or Out?

Question: When I score a piece of cardstock, is the dented side the inside or the outside of the crease?

Answer: It may be counter-intuitive, but the dented side is the outside of the fold. That will result in a crisp, professional crease. So in this picture of a scored box, you fold those score marks in so that the side you see in the picture is the outside of the box.  But if you do it the other way, the world will not end and your project will still look great!
