Dear ,
Among this week's reminders....Last
chance to get the "best of" sets, Stamp-A-Pack in two weeks, and how not to get "mushy" markers.
How do you preserve your marker tips? |
Stampin' Write Markers are a wonderful tool you can use to ink stamps as well as colour stamped images. But there is nothing worse than trying to colour a stamped image with a mushy marker tip. Keep your markers in top condition
by remembering a few simple tips:
- When directly inking stamps, use the side of the marker tip rather than the end of the tip whenever possible.
- Use a light touch! Simply touching the marker tip to paper or a stamp will transfer the ink nicely. There is no need to apply heavy pressure to the marker - that will just bend the tip and cause it to become "mushy".
- Stampin' Write Markers should always be stored horizontally (flat) to keep the ink evenly dispersed
