Answer:The "Rule of Thirds" is a design guideline. Imagine a 3 x 3 grid over your project, so that the horizontal and vertical lines are evenly spaced.
Focal elements on your projects should be along the lines or where they intersect.
Which is more interesting, the symmetrical card or the one where I applied the Rule of Thirds?
So, the next time your project seems a little "boring", try applying the " Rule of Thirds".

Take your Craft Scissors and trim your Chevron Ribbon down the center. Now you have a narrow striped ribbon instead! Just clean up the edges with your fingers and you are done.
